Brittany: It’s Me

HI. My name is Brittany Rollings. I was born in Jacksonville, NC in 1984 to a military family. Since then I have journeyed to Korea, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Austrailia and have lived in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years. I am a senior at Southeastern University on the verge of graduation in December 2010. I graduated with my AA degree back in 2008. In my spare time when I am not studying I enjoy running, dancing, especially hip hop and talking to my friends and family. I also enjoy writing poetry. In fact, I created an entire book of poems that I had written when I was younger. I plan to have a career in the communications field such as television or radio. I am a bit of a perfectionist, but God has been working on that fault in me. I am an introvert by nature, so I enjoy quiet time to myself. I can get stressed out at times due to school, but thankfully I have my friends and family that encourage me, so I am able to get through the hard times. I love italian food because my mom is half Italian and it has always been a tradition around the holidays to have big italian dinners. My favorite music is pop music, although I enjoy listening to hip hop and rhthym and blues. I hope that in the future I can use the skills and talents that God gave me to hopefully influence people in a  postive way because there is so much negativity in the world. Overall, I am a fun person to get to know. My personality is 1 percent of the population and I do have faults such as becoming irritable if my circumstances do not go as planned, however, no one is perfect. Right now I just want to find God’s will for my life and do whatever it is that He has called me to do.
